"Serrats" Preserves purchases small, fresh sardines of the finest quality. In a cannery, Sardines are first steamed and then ready for consumption by steaming. Each Sardine is hand-washed, and the head is removed. The time between capture and canning of the Sardines is as short as possible, so its nutritional properties remain intact.
