Fassona beef is the exceptionally Italian breed, born and raised in the region of Piedmont. This Fassona cattle are raised in open pastures and feed with cereal, hay to locust beans.
Fassona eye of round is lean cut which is shaped similar to a tenderloin, but in a muscle which is in movement so it is much less tender.
The Fassona eye of round is a great piece for stew and marinated meat or cubed steak.
