Only available for a short period of time during mid-winter, the chocolate orange is the natural result of a mutation on a navel orange tree. The farmer that discovered the rare variety decided to develop it, as the chocolate orange is of an exceptional flavor, sweeter & juicer than their cousins, also lower in acidity. Definitely a product to discover if you never tried it!
