Mont d'or AOP is an artisan cheese and protected by a D.O.P. (Designation of Origin) label. Mont d'or AOP is made following stricted rules, with raw milk of Montbeliarde or French Simmental herds.
This soft cheese is packaged in a round wooden crate and surrounded by a band of spruce. This combo gives to its rind an inimitable flavour and crinkled look.
Eating a Mont d'or AOP is an experience, you can discover its specific flavour and texture with a spoon directly in its crate, warm it and enjoy a delicious melted cheese. It’s available from the 10th of September to the 10th of May.
